AFTERBURNER. HIT THE GAS.
- Go upwind harder and faster, saving energy for super long downwind runs
- Huge range, the same low end power as the Pocket Rocket V2 but with greater top end performance
- Warp speed riding control, very smooth overhead drive for tacking, plus good stashability
- Next level connection with our all new monobloc carbon bar
Parawinging for the speed freaks
Our aim was to make the fastest parawing with the best upwind performance on the market. Illustrated by Axel Mazella's groundbreaking success with the Afterburner at the Defi Wing 2026, we pushed our design programme, our riders and our factory to the limits with this high end machine.
The Afterburner features a high number of cells for the perfect load spread, which ensures an ultra clean canopy in flight. It goes upwind like nothing else you have ridden, will transform your tacking success and still remains easy to stash. Complete with an all new ultra light monobloc carbon bar, the entire Afterburner experience is about helping you unlock the next level of riding. It is not for everybody, but it is for you.
High aspect design delivers the ultimate upwind performance
The Afterburner kills the need to coordinate downwind vehicles. We recommend starting your session at your finishing point. Hammer upwind with ease from there to make the biggest downwind run possible, knowing you have your own car parked up with a cold drink in the cooler, ready to enjoy as you calm down.
Do more distance
Low end, top end, tacking, stashing, redeploying. The Afterburner delivers all you need from a parawing so you can just focus on enjoying the longest runs possible. The low end performance is similar to the Pocket Rocket V2, but the high end control is beyond imagination. Just point your board high, push your foil as hard as you like and swiftly stack the kilometre count upwind.
Tacking is the easiest it has ever been thanks to the ultra smooth lift and forward drive overhead. The Afterburner stashes easily if you are well practiced in the technique, but this is not a wing for lots of rapid stashing and redeploying. It is for riders who are committed to freeriding without their parawing for as long as possible.
"Using the 4.3m Afterburner with a 625 race foil definitely gave me the feeling of kiting with efficient race gear. I was riding full power all around the bay. Super fun. The smaller designs should be totally insane!"
β Johnny Heineken, Ozone Ambassador and multiple Kite Race World Champion
"As both designers and riders we have been on an incredible parawinging journey over the last two years. With our 25 years of experience in creating race and competition paragliding and kitesurfing equipment, we were eager to explore what could be transferred into a parawing design without sacrificing bottom end performance or stashability. The Afterburner feels like a mix between a foil kite, a wing and a parawing, and we stayed true to our motto that accessible performance is true performance. Where the Afterburner really stands out is in its huge wind range. This is a wing for riders who are ready to make long downwind runs, carving efficiently and linking swells, when rapid stash and deployment are not the top priorities."

Canopy design
- Single surface design philosophy pushed to the next performance level
- High aspect ratio gives more forward drive for greater speed and upwind performance
- Increased cell count and fully supported rib structure for perfect load spread and an ultra clean canopy
- Lightweight tabs reduce weight, bulk and drag
Aerodynamic performance
- Clean and rock solid leading edge for superloaded sessions
- When sheeted out (depowered) there is minimal canopy flap for reduced drag and higher depower efficiency
- Designed for hooked in harness riding to open up the performance advantages in comfort. Each Afterburner comes with a 25cm fixed loop harness line attached to the bar
Bridle layout
- Bridle line length balanced between maximum aerodynamic performance and good stashability
- Thinner Kevlar lines on the upper level to reduce drag
- Mid level and risers use the thicker, stiffer lines proven for their rash and tangle free performance and excellent stash and redeployment
Monobloc carbon control bar
- Monobloc carbon control bar with textured EVA grip
- Ultra light weight, only 90 grams
- 35cm long, an ideal balance for easy stashing and wing control
- Index finger front overhang for increased comfort and depower control
- A line protection nub acts as a stopper, providing extra grip between index and middle fingers
- Thumb resting spot on the bar end for enhanced comfort and feel
