Our most popular open group SUP lessons will quickly get you up on your feet and improving your paddling skills with confidence.

Bookings are now open on weekends as well as some weekdays during the summer school holidays. All available dates are visible on the booking calendar.

Private Group Bookings for more than 8 paddlers are currently available by appointment only.

ABOUT

Designed for anyone who wants to give SUPping a try, while enjoying the beautiful waterways and ocean on the Surf Coast. We promise to give you an authentic taste of the cruisiest watersport in the world.

The 1.5 hour lesson is broken into three parts:

30 mins prep & warm up
30 mins instruction on water
30 mins free paddle

Let loose in your final 30 minutes or try some other model boards if you like.

Your Surfing Australia instructor will choose the best location to match the weather conditions on the day. You'll receive notification by 6pm on the evening before your lesson.

All SUP lessons are conducted at Cosy Corner Beach or Spring Creek Estuary in Torquay.

Parking is FREE at Cosy Corner in Torquay. Just know the carpark at Cosy Corner can be really busy during peak season in January.
